In addition to exposing civil engineering students to "real-life" engineering and construction experiences by connecting them with practicing constructors and engineers, Student Days events are a unique opportunity for companies to get to know potential new hires. With today's economy, many in the construction and engineering industries are faced with more applications than in the past. This event is designed to reduce the search effort by pulling together a "top-notch" group of students from the best engineering schools around the country. It has become more than just a learning experience for students, but a unique job fair that goes beyond just booths and resumes. Activities are designed to ensure that every company representative is exposed to every student.

  • Student Days offers you the chance to show off your company's unique attributes, as well as observe potential employee interpersonal skills that are not readily evident in resumes, and
  • Get maximum exposure to students during the acclaimed Speed networking! portion of the event, where you actually sit, work and even compete against teams of students to get to know them personally.

Due to the exclusive nature of this event, there are limited spots, so act fast. The 2010 Fall Student Days, hosted by the Construction Institute and COPRI, takes place November 15-17 in Memphis, Tennessee, during the 2010 COPRI Congress.

Here's the schedule of activities.
